Beginning Sewing and Related Classes
All classes can be scheduled for private instuction

Beginning Sewing, Shirt or Jacket

This class will focus on basic and a few advanced garment making techniques.  At the end of the session, you will have a finished blouse, dress shirt or jacket made to fit your body.  I will have a list of patterns to choose from, along with a list of required materials, notions and supplies once your registration is confirmed.  You will need to bring your own sewing machine, so make sure you have one that's in good working order.  Homework is required for you to finish your garment and sample book.

Beginning Sewing, Pants

Make Your Own Duct Tape Dress Form
In this class you will pair off with another student and create a dress form that is an exact double of your own body!  What a great tool for making sure your garments will fit you...everytime!  

CLASS DISCONTINUED!
Due to the rising costs of petroleum products (duct tape), it is now more expensive to make your own dress form than it is to buy an adjustable one from the fabric stores!



Embellishments!
Learn how to make your clothes distinctively you!  This class will allow you to experiment with a variety of techniques for adding flair and color to your wardrobe: Yarn and thread embroidery, bead and sequin work, appliqúes,  pin tucking, pleats and ruffles to any garment in your wardrobe

Class Price:  $150, includes all materials.  Three Saturday workshops from noon to 5PM
