 Sewing beauty into your life!

A walk in, weekly class to help students bring forth their own design ideas into being. Demonstrations of techniques and creative ideas for sewing and crafting given weekly.  And, learn how to use sewing and creating as a soul meditation.  Handouts and sewing supplies provided at every class.  Bring your own sewing machine.  This is a great class for individuals, mom's and kids (11 and up), birthday parties or any group of people wanting to bond in a creative and fun environment!

Class Price: $20 per person

Embellishments!
Learn how to make your clothes distinctively you!  This class will allow you to experiment with a variety of techniques for adding flair and color to your wardrobe: Yarn and thread embroidery, bead and sequin work, appliqúes,  pin tucking, pleats and ruffles to any garment in your wardrobe
Pre-registration required.
Class Price:  $100, includes all materials.  
One Saturday workshop from noon to 5PM

Make Your Own Duct Tape Dress Form
In this class you will pair off with another student and create a dress form that is an exact double of your own body!  What a great tool for making sure your garments will fit you...everytime!  
 
This class is subject to cancellation due to the up and down costs of petroleum products.  Duct tape is one of these products!  I am currently offering this class, so email me if you are interested!


Workday
The Witches Sewing Circle has a social meeting group that meets twice per month.  But, this is proposed as a workday of people wanting to work on group projects for charitable giving.  There will be a list of specific projects and charitable organizations that we will be doing work for.
$5 per person to offset the cost of handouts and supplies provided.

Kids Couture Craft & Sewing Class!
For kids 8-10 years old
No sewing machine required!
This class will run for 10 weeks, 2 hours each session.   This is a class to get kids started on the joys of stitching and needlework.  We will work on several small projects that will teach your young ones how to embellish their jeans and other old clothing with embroidery, ribbon and beadwork, sequins and other materials.  There will be an applique project and a small handbag project as well!

Monday Night Beginning Sewing Class Special
$5 per week = $40 for the whole 8 week class! (normally offered at $250)
February 23rd - April 20th, 2009 (no class on April 13th)

Bring your sewing machine so I can teach you how to use and understand it.  After the first lesson you will have a list of things to buy for your project such as fabric, pattern and related supplies.  You will complete a garment to wear and a sample book by the end of the 8 weeks.  There will be homework involved! Space is really limited so sign up today!!!

Beginning Sewing

This class will focus on basic and a few advanced garment making techniques.  At the end of the session, you will have a finished garment made to fit your body.  I will have a list of patterns to choose from, along with a list of required materials, notions and supplies once your registration is confirmed.  You will need to bring your own sewing machine, so make sure you have one that's in good working order.  Homework is required for you to finish your garment and sample book.

Pre-registration required.
Class Price: $250 for 8 weeks of group classes.
Split class payments, $125 prior to the 1st and 4th classes.

Thursday Nights: 6-9pm
April 2nd - May 21st, 2009
Beginning Sewing - Level 2
This class is for those who want to take their sewing to the next level.  You must have completed at least one of my beginner sewing classes or have equivalent sewing experience.  Focus will be on the finer details of your garment and some couture elements will be introduced!  You will be working with your sewing machine and in developing your hand stitching skills which are required for a beautifully finished garment.

Pre-registration required.
Class Price: $250 for 8 weeks of group classes.
