Come and get outed as a Witch at your favorite sewing circle event! There is usually lots of giggling and hysterical laughter at our events...and we even manage to get one of our projects finished occasionally! This group will be growing and changing in it's orientation over time and we will be doing more group projects for charities benefitting those in our own community! Yay!

Bring any portable project you would like to work on, or come and learn a new craft! Cross-stitch, embroidery, blackwork, tatting, crochet, knitting, victorian ribbon work and beading are all welcome and acceptable projects. No sewing machines at our current meetings, but we can schedule a sewing day if enough of people request it.

Learn and Serve Workday
The Witches Sewing Circle already has a social meeting group that meets twice per month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at the Witches Brew Coffehouse in Denver. (See information about the current meetings on the lower left of this page). There soon will be an additional meeting added at a different location with an entirely different focus. This is proposed as a monthly workday of people wanting to hone or learn new sewing skills and work on group projects for charitable giving in service to those in need. At our first meeting, we will be putting together a list of specific projects and charitable organizations that we would like to work with. $5 per person which I will split with the venue location. The other half will cover handouts and supplies that will be provided. Potluck lunch. Those attending should come with a positive attitude, a desire to work in the spirit of charitable giving and a desire to learn and/or teach others a new skill. In addition, it is my hope to find ways of generating income for ourselves through this sewing circle in these harsh economic times. Bring your ideas, sewing machine and tools you like to work with. This is not a typical stitch-n-bitch, rather a place to be an inspiration to others using our creative skills. Start date and location to be announced very soon.
