Understanding & Working with Commercial Patterns

This class will cover everything you need to know about commercial patterns...from learning how to read the pattern envelope, understanding sizes, purchasing the right notions & fabrics.  In addition, we will work on adjusting patterns to your measurements & making a muslin sample to verify the fit of your garment.  Bring a new, unused pattern and your sewing machine.
Class Price:  $50. One Day Workshop from 10am to 4pm.

Intro to Pattern Drafting

This class will help you to understand how and why garments fit...or don't fit.  A great class for fashion designer's, home sewer's and anyone interested in making their clothes to fit better!  A 6-week class introducing the basic concepts of pattern drafting.  Each class is 3 hours and at the end of 6 weeks you will have a basic fitting sloper and a blouse or dress pattern, customized to your measurments.  Sewing machine required.

Class Price:  $175 for six 3 hour classes.
